Jim DeLorenzo is a proven executive with exceptional expertise developing and implementing successful public relations strategies. An experienced leader with a solid track record and reputation for building business through coordinated communications, marketing and media relations programs, he brings outstanding communications, team building, relationship building, organizational and problem solving skills to any project.

Since July 1999, he has served as a Strategic Public Relations Consultant through his own firm (d/b/a JHD Enterprises). DeLorenzo has extensive experience with small businesses, start-ups and entrepreneurs, with clients in a diverse variety of industries (including Professional Services, Financial Services, Technology, Advertising, Marketing and Entertainment/Sports). He has worked with a number of professional sports figures in the past few years, including former Philadelphia Phillies slugger Greg "The Bull" Luzinski and Baseball Hall of Famers George Brett and Dave Winfield, among others. Among his current clients is Bill Rasmussen, the innovator and entrepreneur who started ESPN, and recently launched College Fanz Sports Network. Prior to starting JHD Enterprises, DeLorenzo was the Director of Public Relations for US Interactive, Inc. (1997-1999). During his tenure with this pioneering Internet strategic consulting firm with a client list drawn from the Fortune 500, the company grew from 35 employees in two cities, to over 250 employees in five cities, and completed a successful initial public offering.

Previously, he was Publicist for an International men's senior tennis circuit (then known as the Champions Tour and also the Nuveen Tour) that featured Jimmy Connors, Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe and other legendary tennis champions.

DeLorenzo's public relations career began at Villanova University, where he capped his 11-year tenure with the Wildcats' Athletic Department as their Sports Information Director/Director of Media Relations from 1990 through 1995. He directed all public relations and other marketing efforts for this historic NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic program with 24 men's and women's teams. In that role, he interfaced with executives at the Big East Conference, Yankee Conference, NCAA, ECAC and other athletic conferences. He was also personally responsible for all activities for men's basketball and football, and managed on-site production for live television broadcasts in conjunction with CBS Television Network and ESPN, among others. DeLorenzo directed a full-time staff of three and part-time staff of over 20, as well as outside vendors. His wide-range of responsibilities also included game-day arena management strategies, media campaigns, direct mail, media relations, event production, and game day operations in press box, pressroom, stadiums and arenas. Earlier, DeLorenzo had directly coordinated the public relations activities for men's and women's track and field, cross country, swimming and diving, tennis, lacrosse and soccer; baseball, softball, field hockey, ice hockey, wrestling, golf, and women's basketball.

DeLorenzo is currently an active member of the Philadelphia Public Relations Association, the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association, the Philadelphia chapter of the National Sports Marketing Network, and the College Sports Information Directors of America . He is a former Vice President of the Philadelphia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. He has served on the board of trustees of the Choral Arts Society of Philadelphia, and the board of directors of the National Adoption Center. A graduate of Villanova University, he served on the board of the Villanova University Varsity Club for several years. A native of Trenton, NJ, DeLorenzo was elected to the Notre Dame High School Alumni Hall of Fame in 2002. He and his wife reside in Center City Philadelphia.
